We care about sustainable meal tracking, so we don't even try to cound macros, calories, or whatever. We enable you to be as detailed as you have to: you can write down detailed macros or log "soup". If a generic description matches your goals – all the better.
Log before, during, or after the meal
While the most optimal way to track meals is to log what you have "just eaten", we recognize that you might enter the info hours after you've had your meal. You won't have to erase those annoying timestamps we've prefilled for you – because we haven't. We don't pre-fill anything, specifically for that case.
No notifications. Period.
We won't be annoying you throughout the day asking "Hey! Have you eaten?". No. We respect your attention and won't be trying to steal it. We might send you an email on a rare occasion, but that's about it.
Honest AI integration
We don't have AI built-in because that'd be a bit disonest on our part. Instead, No-BS [food] log integrates with other tools like ChatGPT or Claude so you can find workflows that work for you.
Keyboard-friendly navigation
In our pursuit of the quickest way to log your meals, we found that keyboard shortcuts work well – if you've got a keyboard, that is. Use shortcuts to add, edit, delete your meals, and navigate around the app.
Don't keep the data to yourself
One of the main ways to use the log is to show it to your physicial, dietician, coach, or even a friend. We provide multiple ways to export and share the data – so that you can get feedback on your meals and your habits.
Installable as a mobile app
Classic mobile apps are pretty heavy, so we don't offer it to you. At least not yet. Instead, you can use our food log as a website, or as a progressive web application. It'll act like an app, stay on your home screen, but you won't have to update it, ever.

We don't really do AI here. We do provide a way to integrate with ChatGPT or Claude – you will be able to log meals through them, as well as access your existing info. But we will not be offering any kind of analysis ourselves. We suggest you consult with a professional dietician if you feel that you need qualified feedback.
